This program originates from material collected for a Discovery Channel show, "Using the Internet". Significantly re-edited, "Life on the Internet" was aired in 1966 on PBS stations in the US. In addition to the episode featuring Severe Tire Damage, there is an episode featuring STD's bass player, Mark Manasse, who describes Millicent, a plan for addressing microcommerce on the Internet. Mark is wearing his STD "CyberPirate" T-shirt and plays bass during his interview.
